Party Cheese Fondue

One 11 ounce can of Cheddar cheese soup
One 8 ounce carton of French onion dip
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded sharp cheese
1/2 teaspoon of dry mustard
1/8 teaspoon of red pepper (cayenne)

Combine all ingredients in a small heavy saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thoroughly heated and cheese melts. Transfer to fondue pot; place over heating unit to keep hot. Serve with bread sticks, apple slices, or nacho chips. Yields 2 1/3 cups
