Nana's Stove
Are you ready for some good homecookin"?

 

Party Mix 3

2/3 cup of butter or margarine
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/8 teaspoon of garlic salt or powder
2 cups of bite-sized shredded wheat
2 cups of bite-sized shredded rice
2 cups of salted peanuts
Pretzel sticks

Melt butter or margarine in shallow pan over low heat. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and garlic salt. Add other ingredients; mix gently until all pieces are covered with butter or margarine. Bake at 300ºF.  about 30 minutes, stirring gently every 10 minutes. Spread out to cool. Yield: 8 cups.
