
| Barley Casserole
1/3 cup of barley, soak in bowl of water for 3 hours 1 pound of ground beef, browned Salt and pepper 1 medium onion, cut up 1 cup of sliced carrots 2 tablespoons of molasses 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
In a 2-quart casserole, mix drained barley, browned beef and onion, 1 cup carrots and molasses, mix well. Add enough water to cover. Bake at 350ºF. 1 hour covered. Before serving, add 2 tablespoons soy sauce. Mix. You may have to add more water during baking. |
