| California Style Barbecued Pork Spareribs
3 to 4 pounds of pork spareribs, cut into serving pieces 1 clove of garlic, chopped 2 tablespoons of butter 1 cup of ketchup 1 cup of water 2 tablespoons of lemon juice 1 teaspoon of paprika 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce dash of Tabasco sauce 2 onions, sliced 2 lemons, sliced

Place ribs in roasting pan; brown at 450ºF.for 30 minutes. Sauté garlic in butter for 1 minute. Add catsup, water, lemon juice, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce; heat to boiling. Drain fat from ribs; top with onion and lemon. Pour sauce over ribs. Bake at 350ºF. for 1 hour and 30 minutes, basting occasionally. Serves 4. ºF.
